  1. Nope. Gonna be yet another pathetic storm day. Storms to my south over and over again. Can't get anything good, we can settle for moderate drought at this point as the nearby creek is about a half foot lower than it usually is.
  2. Impressive anvil to my south.
  3. This will be a phone number in 1,000 years once we run out of ideas for numbers
  4. Awesome shelf cloud near Cape May, the storm that I'm currently looking at right now to the east. Massive anvil cloud.
  5. @C.A.P.E. - Check out that anvil to the east. One moment it wasn't there and one blink later it's exploded. Currently eating in Dover, because there's hardly a single restaurant other than Pizza Empire down the corner out in dis countryside. Heard faint thunder twice so far, other than that KC-10 that keeps flying around.
  6. 5,000 J/kg CAPE over southern Delmarva. Also some towering cumulus to my east and I can feel the instability in the air. Best chance for convection IMO is across the state line as the cumulus field starts here east.
  7. 91/80. Looks like 80s dews are becoming the new normal here with all these cornfields and transpiration.
  8. Cranky with the endless torch until October it seems.
  9. That's one hell of a slow storm.. doubt I'll see any lightning tonight.
  10. it's coming folks. Winter is coming, then as soon as Dec 21 summer will be coming
  11. 87/77. I can't wait until I'm nowcasting snow bands on the NEXRAD site this winter. Ehh, I'll probably get nothing. Edit: Speaking of snow, I just got a flashback of the 2016 blizzard dry slot and it's not pretty
  12. Sir how much blood is in your alcohol?
  13. 86/77. Just downright muggy and tropical out there.
  14. It's over 300 degrees kelvin outside right now.
  15. I was only 10 years old in 2001.. I don't remember very well but it was a Saturday a couple days before the storm, playing games with a couple friends over at my house.
  16. Had a nice lightning storm a half hour ago here. 26 degrees Celsius out right now, downright tropical
  17. I think they were basing it on Tennessee too much and not enough of the cloud cover. Based on looking at yesterday evening's satellite, the cloud debris was gonna be a problem and they missed it.
  18. M*rch 2001 is a banned term on AMWX.
  19. Lots of school kid snow day dreams were dashed during the March 2017 snowstorm down here.
