  1. LOL Lake effect snow in TEXAS of ALL STATES. That shows how backwards this winter is.
  2. All three ensembles have a pattern change to above normal temperatures after the 20th. I believe winter is over the last week of february barring another blocking episode.
  3. You don't wanna move somewhere just because they have a ton of snow. It's probably not going to workout for you. You will be bored pretty damn fast.
  4. Feast or famine around here. Hope you like delmarva livin'
  5. The snow looks amazing this morning.
  6. The southern Delmarva peninsula is famous for its heavy snows and deep snowpack starting mid-feb and running through mid-june.
  7. If only it was traveling at a 40 degree angle relative to the magnetic poles, then we would have gotten even more rain.
  8. This is just a "bad luck" -NAO/-AO winter, and we still managed to get a few nickel and dime events at the very least. We just happened to be at the low end of things for those kinds of winters. 2009/10 OTOH... I've had about half of my seasonal total in just 2-3 weeks.
  9. 39 degrees, bar is about 1-2 inches
  10. Nothing ever goes wrong in the Mid-Atlantic for snow!
  11. The reaper effect. The panic room will be busy for the first time all winter.
  12. Really? What's wrong with that place? Edit: I get the sarcasm
  13. Fort Lauderdale looking pretty warm for February standards. Highs near the mid-80s for the rest of the week in Davie, which is the town west of Fort Lauderdale that I will be moving to.
  14. It's time we get rid of this La Nina. Here is this blowtorch I have right here which will be used to warm up the Pacific ocean so La Nina is gone once and for all
  15. This will be the new "how much for philly" How much for short pump?
  16. But when we finally do get a Nino the atmosphere acts like a Nina. Oh well. At least in fort lauderdale i won't need to worry anymore
  17. Things I learned this winter: Never expect good snows other than the occasional 3-4 inch storm or less, in a La Nina, no matter how good the pattern may look up top, in the Delmarva
