Average high for the new place I'm moving to in Florida in April gets above 80 starting in mid march and doesn't get below 80 until November. Oh and the average low is in the mid to upper 70s from may to October

As soon as I exited the bay bridge I hit a wall of rain and the temp dropped 5 degrees so far Edit: 10 mins later, another 5 degrees. 56 to 46

You couldn't ask for a better rain event than last week. We were so close to the r/s line and the temperatures were so close to freezing but I didn't see a single flake. I call that a win.

Luckily this year the TPV is already in a discombobulated state (the AO has already been negative since the beginning of December and that's before the upcoming SSW). I'm not saying that there will be a 2009-10 repeat this year but it is an interesting little tidbit in regards to the TPV/SPV.
