  1. Too small couldn't read the image.
  2. What are you basing this off of? OP GFS?
  3. Idk but this seems like 2018 to me.
  4. With the euro's overamped bias and the GFS's SE bias I'll take it.
  5. Verbatim I get some CCB action on the backside with a few inches. Time for the ens
  6. "Right where we want it this far out" will more likely work for the January 12th than the 8th. The blocking around and leading up to January 8th is simply too much of a good thing. However, it relaxes some, and the models all seem to show a currently suppressed storm on the 12th. Based on past experience, I think this will shift NW. I think NW shifts will be real with this one. Our big snows usually come after a relaxation in the block.
  7. When was the last time we saw the sun? Maybe its foreshadowing days and days of clouds and cold after our HECS on January 12th
  8. There is a nice PNA ridge out west and 50/50-esque low at hour 144. EPS 6z
  9. I think the 12th is starting to come into focus relatively quick.
  10. Yes that is true but it looks like a +PNA/-EPO combo is probable starting January 15 so it should drain the vodka cold air from Eurasia.. I am seeing that in the LR. The ensembles are setting up the best Pacific look we have seen in years.
  11. It should be vodka cold in southern canada and pretty sustained cold in the eastern U.S after Jan 15 if everything goes right. Seriously. We are probably on the cusp of a -AO, -NAO, -EPO and +PNA combo.
  12. The SE can't have any snow. It's all mine
  13. 14 percent of the time we get a HECS everytime.
  14. I told you that's my expertise and you haven't really learned
  15. Doesn't matter, the SSW is already occurring and we're going to have about a month or so of cold and many opportunities for snow.
  16. Setting my debbie downer side aside, we will have MANY threats between now and mid-feurbary.
  17. The GFS is one big rainstorm on the 16th. But the evolution sounds like complete bullshit to me.
  18. Phases a little too late on the 11th-12th so it's another rainstorm here. I'm sure that's how we fail Jan 12th too.
  19. Yeah but with a good enough Pacific and blocking, we shouldn't have too much of a problem getting cold air to drain from Eurasia to the eastern U.S.
  20. This is the most digital snow the GFS has ever given us. The white/blank areas are 48''+
  21. Of course things trend shitty overnight. First we had a gazillion rainstorms now we have suppression. We can't win shit
  22. How could you! Shameful. Learn to post in the right thread smfh
