Quick downpour here in Enfield.

Isn’t it a bit late in the spring season to be dropping fert ? Especially since you are calling for HHH weather which tends to put our grass into dormancy. I could see it if there were a stretch of cool and wet weather coming, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

The breeze has been nice today working around the house finishing the summer patio set-up. Hoping it dies down after dinner tho, finally put the boat in the water and the wife wants to go for a cruise.

75F is a good temp if you sit on your lawnmower. If you are pushing the lawnmower and walking behind it, 75F is about 10-15 degrees too warm.

Agree with Damaged, if you feed the grass, it will help keep the weeds at bay. I do early season and late season fertilizer applications, before the weeds start growing, and after they have more or less stopped.

I finally put the snow thrower in the shed, usually wait until the first weekend in May. Turned into a really nice day in the lower valley, cleaned the garage and washed 2 cars including my daily driver antique Honda, which came out nice:
