this. I cut the cable about 6-7 years ago, and 4 years ago replaced the AM/FM/cassette radio in my antique Honda with a carplay touch-screen hands-free aftermarket unit with back-up camera that connects to my phone the internet is a much more efficient time-waster than teevee, where you have to surf through 57 channels to figure out there's nothing on worth watching; there is always something on youtube etc. worth wasting time on

Damn, there's only 2080 hours in an entire work year. 750 hours is more than 90 days. I'm not allowed to carry more than 20 days of PTO before I lose it.

Leaving my irrigation system in winter mode for now wish I dropped fert yesterday, last nights rain was good

i'm with kev on this, you don't want to rely on irrigation to get the fert into the soil - you want actual rain, more than a 1/4 inch. that's a lot of water, and relying on a well in a steiny pattern is risky

The organic matter is the key. The chemical ferts are like crack, they juice the grass but the effects wear off quickly and they don't contribute to the long-term microbial biodiversity in the soil, which is important for plant health. Lawn looks awesome ! Mine's still dormant.
