At least 90 at DCA... day 21 this month, ties for 10th.

day 5 in a row of 96+ in DC ... legit. too bad we didn't bridge the gap between heat waves could have helped it look less weak.

it's pretty hard to site perfectly in a city plus I think many/most home systems are at least prone to excess in temps and precip, esp if not heavily maintained. haven't seen any of the major locations get much past 100 locally so much higher is a little questionable maybe, tho possible on small scales for sure. the post station is on top of a building, like many or most wxbugs... not proper either.

DCA tends to find the 10 min of wind off Crystal City it needs most days... occasionally not. It is fairly representative of downtown other than immediate proximity to the river.

97... seems legit. The station near me is wonky imo. was out it's hot but not 102.

the airnow station seems to run high. it says 102 now. Nats Park is 98 tho. this is where I say I should get a therm.

good stuff was thinking of running myself.. saved some effort. 2011 should prob remain king I suppose. I have less feels about the others although a fourth top 5 in a little over a decade is thisisfinedog.gif

much like sports (outside bubbles)... schools are a feature of healthy and functioning societies. we are barely the second and the first naso much.

west wind and some clearing is a good recipe for some late-day magic. this is a top quality air mass so you gotta give it a better shot than normal. 99.4 prob.

I saw that tho kinda doubt it. although it is the one direction I can't really see from inside. it does seem the clear to the west is finally approaching.

we are dc'ing the heck out of this stuff lately. 97 with clouds is impressive tho most of the stations seem a few deg cooler than yesterday locally where DCA is like one or so back. honestly it's prob still in play but that blue I can see to the west needs to race in.

can see plenty of sun just north but sat not looking great. we 99. pretty impressive for cloudy... BWI making another run.
