I have absolute confidence that we're gonna do good around here, but damn do I feel bad for Eastern Iowa. And miss me with that "they already got theirs" bs; way I see it, the more of us cash in, the merrier
This thing is definitely trending well for Chicagoland and west. Euro is a good deal north, very much in line with other guidance at a quick snowfall map glance.
I figure with this system that while it could certainly be something decent, since we're skipping the 20" totals phase of modeling that our expectations will be more easy to meet this time around.
That's not to say that I wouldn't want the models to go bonkers, but...
Snowfall here (I know I'm not Cyclone but I'm excited to see flakes this size) is picking up over time, as is accumulation efficiency. Everything was wet so it took a second of course. Right now It's moderate/borderline heavy with consistent cotton balls for the last half hour.
Honestly, looking at radar trends, I find it hard to believe that we'd get less than 5". I know that's nasty considering where we were, but I have to admit I'm still hyped.
