  1. Our high today was 13 and we are currently at -3
  2. Should it be snowing on the western Plateau all day tomorrow? WBIRs future radar showed it looking like it cleared out here at like 11am and then remained over Knoxville the rest of the day/evening
  3. We have an inch on the car tops so far. It's taking a minute to cover the grass fully though.
  4. Our snow here NW of Crossville feels wetter than I expected actually. Down to 22 though
  5. 23 degrees now. We had very little virga surprisingly.
  6. It goes out to 54 hours. It shows a lot of QPF in ETN but maybe mixing problems.
  7. The "Rufus" model moves the heaviest snow well up into Kentucky at least Kuchera ratios.
  8. That is very possible but also based on the latest runs it looks like his 1-3" line and 2-4" should also be in the 3-6+ at the very least. But maybe he will be correct
  9. Same amount where I live. Bet that'd push us to around -10 the next morning if that ever verified
  10. Very windy here NW of Crossville and heavy rain with rumbles of thunder
  11. I hope this is readable but a good county by county recap of this storm. @John1122 you may be interested in this. Using my newspapers.com account I can probably find other major snow event recaps in the area with dates (if they're in the Knoxville paper) Here is the link if this is unreadable: https://pasteboard.co/RxK2yAe9BnVn.jpg
  12. Says Anderson County and areas north of Knoxville reported nearly two feet
  13. Wow! My girlfriend has a video from this event on video. She lived in Morgan County, TN and the snow looked super deep. It looked like nearly 2 feet on the ground honestly. I was shocked when I saw the video because I didn't remember such a big storm around then but it looked like at least as much snow as was on her March 93 blizzard video. Thanks for sharing this graphic so now I can have a visual reference for this event. We uploaded a couple of the videos to YouTube unlisted so her family could view, but if someone wants to see them I could see if she'd let me share them. If not then I could share a screenshot at least. The Feb 1996 one I didn't upload though so I'll have to get the tape back from her.
  14. Snow here between Crossville and Monterey. The bad thing is my power has been out for three hours and counting now due to the wind I guess
  15. We had a dusting between Crossville and Monterey that morning but it had pretty well melted by noon.
  16. Two of the three pine trees in my backyard blew over during this, here NW of Crossville. Power was out at my house for about 24 hours.
  17. It's 36 here but seems like mostly or all rain unfortunately
  18. February 7, 2021, or a different one? That was one of the prettiest snows I've seen in Crossville on the trees
  19. Most of what fell here at daybreak melted as it stopped snowing. Now it's coming down pretty good but tiny little pellet flakes
  20. Light Dusting NW of Crossville already. Nothing on radar.
  21. We got almost three feet of (mostly unexpected) snow from that one in Southeast Kentucky (McCreary County). No power for two weeks and no school for three weeks. The National Guard had to come in to clear trees due to the weight of the snow. I believe they were only calling for 2-4" tops after it switched over from rain, but it switched way early. I also read where motorists were stranded on I-40 up Monterey Mountain in TN where they ended up with around 15"
  22. Cumberland Cove in Mayland (somewhat near Monterey) had some pretty areas today with snow on the trees. Second pic is Davy Crockett Campground west of Crossville (between Crossville/Monterey):
