    I thought about riding it out up in cashiers with some friends but decided it might be a good amount down here. Oh well lol glad they got a good one maybe will all get in on the big totals next time.

    I’m with you, I wish I would’ve got the big totals some of the others got, but it just didn’t work out. But hey after the torch of December we had any Snow was a win in my book! The max at one time here on the ground is right now which is about 3”. I don’t understand why there so upset we look to be entering a epic pattern.

    It’s been dumping fine flakes for most of the past 3 hours. Added a couple inches to what we had left from this morning. Congrats to y’all to my south and east that got the big time totals!

    Right around 3” north of Franklin. Still big flakes falling at a moderate rate

    Looks to be right around a inch here on vehicles and the grass. Driveway just now caved.

    That would be a money track for us. Shouldn’t be any worries about mixing. The Miller b stuff is always iffy around these parts.

    18z Euro was about to lay the hammer down. (Only goes out or hr 90) it was slightly colder too, prob gonna be another foot + run for WNC!

    I was just talking about him. If he wants to stay on the conservative side he needs to be that way from the get go. I just talked to family that watched him and said snow was a miss it’s gonna be mostly rain now. Which is far from the truth we’ve all seen it today on models totals have not went down! He could be putting some people in danger if he doesn’t jump on board by tomorrow evening!

    That’s got to be one of the craziest runs I’ve ever seen 3-4 ft for a lot of the mountains.

    We’re still sitting good fellas, I think will wobble back and forth over the next few days, but we’re in for a solid snow.

    Lots of moving parts in the upcoming pattern. 12z Euro shows a winter storm for the mountains next Saturday/Sunday.

    Congrats to y’all that cashed in on the heavy snow. Was only able to get a light skiff on vehicles and trees north of Franklin. But it was still nice to see if fall after the torch of a December we had.

    Just now starting to mix in a few flakes in north of franklin. Just heard a rumble of thunder too.

    There’s some serious cloud to ground lightning going on in the line passing through Macon county.

    GSP just issued a tornado watch for most of WNC.

    Have some light snow/sleet falling now in Northern Macon county.

    Had 19 north of Franklin this morning.

    Wow absolutely insane pics! Just a little flooding in northern Macon county. Little Tennessee river is still rising though and beginning to flood fields.
