  1. I agree I wouldn’t take any run verbatim, but with the kind of pattern we’re changing to, a storm could show up 3-4 days out and be game on.
  2. Ended up with 2.37” north of Franklin. I agree with the pattern change mid month. Lots of blocking around.
  3. Just crossed the 1” mark on the night. Gonna be a good rain for areas still in the drought.
  4. Models have shifted a good bit west with the tropical system Friday/Saturday. Maybe we can put a big dent in the drought.
  5. The microclimates here in the Mountains are absolutely fascinating. That’s a huge difference for y’all, with the close proximity. Hopefully one day I’ll get to compile some numbers for different ones here in Macon County.
  6. I figured y’all picked up a little Tuesday night. We only got 0.21” but it definitely made a difference for the good. Hopefully we can all get some rain over the weekend.
  7. Radar looks promising, hopefully we can pick up some much needed rain overnight.
  8. Bottomed out at 35 this morning and received the first frost of the season.
  9. 45 here this morning. Looks like we have an excellent week of weather ahead of us.
  10. What a nice early Fall day in the mountains. Bottomed out at 47 this morning and only managed 69 for the high.
  11. Rain has continued into the morning in the sw mountains flash flood warning’s have began being put up for ga and sc.
  12. Bottomed out at 10 this morning. Snow is starting to melt now, will probably be gone by the end of the day.
  13. It’s been absolutely pouring here for the last 30 minutes probably over a 1” 1/2 now.
  14. Coming down at a good clip North of Franklin atm. Everything is coated but the driveway.
  15. Must of been a near perfect set up for my area that’s the most I’ve got in nwfs since the day after Christmas 2010. Didn’t have to go far down the road today and totals cut drastically.
  16. Right at 5” here north of Franklin. What a event, no winter weather advisory here and produced winter storm warning criteria snow!
  17. It must of poured last night, when I looked out i about fell over from disbelief. Looks to be a good 5” maybe 6”. I’ll get a measurement shortly.
  18. Flat out pouring here, definitely over a 1/2”, which is what most models showed.
  19. Snow squall warning up in Louisville Ky, should be a fun night.
  20. Temp has dropped to 34 and wind is howling. A few flurries falling as well.
  21. Low of 27 no snow but heavy freezing fog and roads are slicker than snot.
