  1. Latest Nam’s show us wasting light precip on rain and a mix but as soon as the main precip gets here boom, it should be coming down and both models show 4-7 inches for Macon. Hope there right!
  2. Looking at the latest Nam’s they are quite a bit drier then what current radar shows, might be something to watch.
  3. I think we will be fine most models show we might start as a light mix but quickly turn to snow and give us at least a half inch of precip
  4. That was close to a huge run 1” plus precip was not far one more shift and we might be in for a real pasting.
  5. 6z Nam 12km drop totals slightly for WNC but still a 3-6 inch event
  6. Talk about impressive there’s maps in the main discussion Franklin went from 1.6 to 3.5 Asheville is over 3 inches as well
  7. A decent event on the GFS pretty much 2-4 Inches for the mountains.
  8. Maybe I’m stepping out of bounds but I think will do great with this event. A WSW event for all the mountains, I just know from past experiences these events usually trends better.
  9. Yeah it seems like these systems are always juicer when they get here let’s hope that holds true for this one.
  10. This rain is no joke it seems like we could be classified as a rainforest here just like highlands.
  11. Don’t think I’ll ever make it to 50 today I’m at 25 with dense freezing fog still
  12. Was able to pick up 3.25 inches today which puts my season total at 6.5, still got a ways to go to reach my locations climo. But I enjoyed every minute of today’s snow.
  13. Just got back home there are cars out of the road everywhere. I think we might make a run at 4 inches. Best rates just stoped right at the state line.
  14. Light to moderate snow here with ground and road getting white. East Tennessee is over performing I think we’re in for a nice surprise.
  15. Did not except to wake up to a winter storm warning. My biggest snow of the season was two inches so anything over that I’ll be happy with.
  16. Picked up a half inch here this morning and still snowing lightly.
  17. Had about a 15 minute lull and now it’s pouring again the band coming out of Dahlonega concerns me because with a more northerly component it could train for a while.
  18. 3 and 1/2 inches and still coming down, water out of its banks everywhere.
  19. It’s the Nam at range, if it showed a foot of snow would we believe it. Most models show at least some snow so let’s just enjoy what we can get, I still believe the models will come in wetter in future runs.
  20. Hopefully it will but virtually every model still gives us a couple inches.
  21. Now let’s just juice this system up a little like every other system has and will be looking at a dang good event.
