    I took a ride towards Franklin and there is a huge difference in totals. There might be 2 inches around the Macon county airport.

    I would say I’m right around 5” here In Cowee north of Franklin. It’s a true paste, trees are absolutely full of snow!

    Starting to really come down again. Temps held steady all night at 30-31.

    Flake size has really decreased here. Looks to be 4 or so inches. Maybe another couple on the backside and I can hit 6.

    Looking at radar I don’t think will have the big lull that was modeled. The backside looks real healthy.

    Temps starting to fall now. I’m back below 40.

    I’m starting to like our chances it looks like we might get a little back side action as well. I would say 3-6 would be a good call right now.

    I’m liking the trends on the hrrr and rap they keep inching north with the initial band. Both have 6 inch line running through southern Macon county another 5-10 mile Shift and I’ll be happy.

    I’m definitely not as confident as I was, but I think the short range models are keeping the low over Tennessee to long before transferring. We might just have to wait till tomorrow evening and watch and see.

    I agree I got 4” last February but since then dec of 18 was the last time I’ve had 6” so Im wanting to meet that. But 3” and I’ll be satisfied lol.

    They must be thinking of mixing issues down this way.

    Good model runs overnight. I’m a little afraid it might be a little to amped for down here to stay all snow might have some sleet issues but almost all models show 6 inches of snow acculturation so I’m fine with a little sleet. Don’t fear the long range Hrrr either it’ll start caving at 18z.

    I think rains mixed in here as well but temp has dropped to 35.6 it was 38 something when precip started.

    To bad it’s 36* because that would’ve been a heck of a snow shower.

    Just had a nice sleet shower move thru everything started to get white.

    Hard to say for sure but it looked like 3Km Nam was gonna be even better. Gotta love the way models have trended since yesterday.
