  1. Acurite Atlas. The station itself seems fine, but the connection to the wifi is inconsistent. I have to reset the base every time and that loses data. Mine went offline at about 1am. Acurite seems to have this issue frequently. I am looking to either invest in a Davis or get a specific bridge for the data. It is annoying. Acurite is the lower tier weather stations so I should not be surprised, but the Atlas is the pricier one of their products.
  2. As usual, the connection was lost again on my weather station. Looks like a low of 29.. My station showed 30 when I looked at it - but the tracking was not there. Regardless, we had a great freeze this morning making certain the growing season was done!
  3. 35.4 for a low here in Purcellville. Looked and we kept a light breeze so I guess it was just enough to keep Temps up a bit more than expected. Some clouds too. Up to 37 now.
  4. Twisters is coming! https://www.today.com/popculture/movies/twister-sequel-what-we-know-rcna52689 Sequel to Twister
  5. Location changes a little but still there.. Was on 0Z too but a bit smaller. I am not even the slight bit believing it. Just sharing
  6. Would love to see it happen once.. Usually busts the wrong way..
  7. Ha! All La La land - I am dreaming of a White Thanksgiving!
  8. NWS CPC says above normal for the 8 - 14 day period which would line up with the originally advertised shift to -PNA
  9. I was surprised that I have gotten about 0.33 - Was not expecting any!
  10. That and what are the Power Ball numbers..
  11. As the models showed for me out this way, not feeling confident I see much in western Loudoun. Radar is looking pretty poor.
  12. Graupel showers next week if that GFS look comes true?
  13. Radar looked heavy but it moved through quickly this morning. A very quick 0.08 picked up earlier
  14. Aw lawdy.. Here comes a drought thread I ain't starting or reviving one!
  15. Two NAM runs in a row showing the Rain shadow effect out here in Loudoun. Ridges get soaked, then just east it dries some, then resurgence around 95. I am sure it is where and how the storms set up, that drying is pretty typical.
  16. Some stats and maps to show it. Boooooo - But not a surprise!
  17. hahahahaha! Probably true! - I reset the stupid thing for the 10th time. DO NOT GET ACURITE STATIONS unless you want issues. My Atlas is probably fine, it is the display and internet set up that keeps having issue.
  18. 39.9 for a low Ha. 3 nights of 30s though that was barely the case this time.
