  1. Any chance for high ratios? LOL! Get every bit out of it we can squeeze!
  2. Sleet and a little snow here in Purcellville.
  3. I do not know with the way the Highs are sitting. Looks like maybe a little ice could be possible, but that is a poor look
  4. Time for the Euro to switch places and reel us back in! LOL!
  5. When I Debbie downed about being in the southern end of the snow.. And I know it was not the edge, what we see on the Gfs is what I expected to see.. And I am not saying it won't shift around and I think the GFS is way too excited about precip and strength which are working against us.. But it was a logical shift. Could reverse in the morning.. I dunno.. Just seemed like the natural progression that the cold would move out. Timing, location, luck. Always needed. Will see what twh GEFS say.
  6. When you are on the southern edge of a big snow, the reality usually is not the best... I am just saying.
  7. Got down to 30. It was super frosty morning!
  8. Moisture is evaporating on runs and placement does seem to be further south.
  9. Can confirm small flakes here in Purcellville!
  10. That is Radar Scope... an app! A nice one too!
  11. Is any of this reaching the ground? While out a bit ago I was saying it smelled like snow!
  12. Coldest of the season! 26.4 degrees for the low in Purcellville
  13. I know it is ridiculously out there, but I do like the idea of a follow up wave on an arctic front as any chance for the area. Nothing amped will make anything happen unless it is crazy ideal like the old Veteran's Day storm. I like seeing them show up on long ranges, even if it is all fantasy
  14. GFS paints a snow flurry next Wednesday. This GFS rub seems to show a few more cooler shots after brief warm ups, but not as dramatic as next week. At the end of the run it looked like warmth was coming, but it is way out there.
  15. Ha - He did an update today to look at the years as well
  16. Spot On Weather has had some good analysis and is liking 2000 - 2001 for an analog. Sorry if this was posted - I thought it was interesting
  17. Ya!! I see.. Holy cow.. Matches 1935 Florida Keys.. Right?
