  3. We in the mid-Atlantic always have the policy of cutting the NAM qpf in half at least. Id favor a Euro/GFS/NAM blend.

  10. As has been discussed ad nauseam, the high is in the historical exact place for NC snowstorms. It's becoming tiresome to hear mets parrot this falsehood. Hr. 66 GFS: Eastern NC getting absolutely pummeled.

  12. The point being that cold transport can work. 1989 cold followed days after the snow began.
  13. Both the 1973 and 1989 coastal N.C. snowstorms featured high pressure near South Dakota/Iowa. FYI.
