    I doubt it. NWS wouldn't be putting up WSW N and W for 6-10 inches. Don't be fooled by the crappy nam.

    It could be a little too amped and a little too far west but it still has been on this for days where the Nam is in la-la land 48 hours before game time. The nam is garbage.

    My money is on the nam. It's a garbage model and doesn't have a clue on this one.

    This low is flying. It's basically snows/rains for less than 12 hours but it's going to come down hard in some places.

    At 10:1. Ratios will be higher especially N and W.

    I don't think it's right either but it hasn't moved in several model runs, neither has the cmc. We will see I guess.

    Yes, but it's still a global as opposed to a meso and the rgem is pretty good unlike the nam.

    Every model has trended closer to coast with more precip and the RGEM/CMC has been consistent for days with it's track. Just because the Euro is farther east doesn't make it right.

    Seems like we are getting a consensus on wave 1. CMC/RGEM have been on this the whole time. GFS caving once again.

    So we are 4 days out. CMC gives me 10 inches and GFS gives me nothing. Sounds about right.

    Every global shows some precip, moderate to significant, except for the GFS. Go figure.

    c-2 for most.

    It seems to me that most models have a wave in the Sunday night time frame that gives a mostly light accumulation, except for the GFS of course which doesn't surprise me.

    My sister lives in northern Virginia and they had about 7 inches from the last storm and the schools were closed for 4 days. LOL.

    I'm talking more about the general capitol district. Places like Latham, Colonie, Clifton Park, Saratoga are nice places to live.

    I don't know about Syracuse and Rochester but the capitol district has a lot of nice places. Every city has it's good and bad.

    GFS has a rainstorm in it's long range and you just know that will verify.

    Yesterday they were looking like double digits was a real possibility, now they are hanging on for dear life.

    Nothing worse than cold and dry and storms missing to the south. My forecast highs the next 7 days are 36, 32,34, 29,29, 30,28 and zero precip. Ugh.
