If we score a solid 1-2" off of this system I'll it a win for the winter and be satisfied. We are still a few days out, so maybe we'll luck out. Has there ever been a storm that looks like this one that absolutely just booms unexpectedly? RIC?
The west / north trend has been happening this winter very similar to last years. I do agree it's in a good spot but a 100 miles shift NW could be killer for RIC.
Too many hours out to get too excited just yet. Wait until after the V-Day storm before we drool. I'm skeptical of that storm as well, no other model is in agreement.
HRRR is showing that snow doesn't happen and rain to start. We'll see but I really don't think a meeting needs to be cancelled due to this. Just an opinion, of course.
