  1. Let’s see if DT is right. Recently no dice but I have faith.
  2. Oh yeah you’ll be fine. Not sure what part of RIC you’re in but if you need a tow let me know if you want to stick around lol
  3. Nah man depending on where you gotta go you’ll be fine. RIC roads if they get “bad” will be fine by Tuesday. These talks of us getting nuked, where is it coming from??
  4. What makes you say that? I find it very hard to believe we’d get more than 4 inches.
  5. I’m prepared to be disappointed tbh. I hope you’re right.
  6. RIC usually gives us the most hope in this thread. It kind of feels slower this morning. My gut is in a hard place of feeling like I’ll wake up with a dusting followed by freezing rain that gets rid of it all. It’s hard to shake that feeling around here. Models did trend a bit North this morning as well.
  7. WTVR says a 40% chance of accumulating snow. Wut??? https://www.wtvr.com/news/weather-news/tracking-potential-winter-storm-for-late-sunday-into-monday
  8. Seems like we’re set between 1-4. I really hope it’s on the high end. HRRR looks really good at the start but I’m afraid of the notorious dry slotting.
  9. Even if GFS verifies we’re in decent shape.
  10. We will be be ok. At least 2-4 inches 5-6 on the higher end. Unless we get absolutely scrooged
  11. HRRR makes me believe a giant dry slot will occur.
  12. The back end thump could be very real, gents.
  13. I'm a NY Giants fan. Shush. Now, if Boise State had won I'd be a little more excited (I know the games aren't this weekend). I'm a big James Madison fan / alumni. Any G5 school getting into the dance and winning is a big deal for us.
  14. All of 95, 360, 64, 295 were treated today. Either a huge waste of taxpaying money or setting up for the money shot. I firmly believe if the trends we are seeing hold still we will get between 3-6 inches. We WILL see sleet and freezing rain, that's undeniable. The most important thing is the front thump and the POSSIBLE back end thump. If the back end thump doesn't happen, I would go with the 2-4 range as the forecast with the mix cutting it down and making it a slushy nightmare.
  15. 3-5 inches in RVA. Book it! 3 towards Midlothian, 5 towards Short Pump / West End.
  16. I’m gonna get a snowball and freeze it for a long long time.
  17. where does one go to purchase those things ? i'll happily post if i had access to it.
  18. gotta be happy for us down here at that point haha
  19. I hope everyone from Salem to Richmond to DC & surrounding areas cash out. This is what we all need.
  20. Our plan is to move to Tampa next January. I hope we can cash in this winter one last time. Been here since 94.
  21. If Richmond got 7-8 inches I would literally cry. This will be my 2.5 year old son's first snow storm. I hope it does well. Even 2-4 or 4-6 will make me so happy for my boy.
