  1. Pretty much 100% aligns with how I feel. We see this every time. Models show a beauty over CENTRAL VA, to nothing, back to being a monster and 2-3 days before it all shifts North and we get scrappy mixed weather time and time again.
  2. Absolutely nothing in western Henrico. Come on man!
  3. Disappointed that we didn’t see a single flake. Expected but still upsetting. Local Mets really need to stop hyping people up for views.
  4. May have convinced my wife to move to Yonkers NY next year. I may be in luck for snow for the next decade (alternative being Tampa FL)
  5. That midweek threat is null. Including the HR area. RIC said it best. It’s time to take a break
  6. GFS came in way south. Not trying to be a downer but this midweek system just isn’t gonna happen. It’s Sunday and not a single model has it. Sorry ladies and gents.
  7. I’d be shocked if we see any precip before next weekend.
  8. It’s not going to snow here at all today lol. I don’t even expect to see a single flake per the HRRR and NAM. What a bummer of the last 24 hours. Oh well. This hobby is frustrating!
  9. Yeah we need that to shift north west about 200 miles so everyone enjoys.
  10. I’ll take 1”. Glad this storm will be mainly during daylight so I can watch it fall adequately.
  11. Well at least we know for certain it will snow on Sunday. (Sorry folks down SE). Yall may luck out on the big one while we don’t up here. Keep your hopes alive! None of the “well it won’t snow down here in Newport News this winter” comments. It’s only half way through January. Plenty of time.
  12. Figured I’d pop in as I’ve been gone since the last system. Thinking Sunday it will be really tough for good accumulations due to the warm air prior to snow falling, who knows maybe we’ll get lucky. As far as the mid week storm, it’s better to have it where it’s at now opposed to blasting DC and leaving us all with rain. I’m hoping one of these systems gives us the “big” one. I appreciate the 2-3” systems but we really need a good 6-8”+ regional storm to barrel through
  13. I’m gonna let you have your fit about my previously deleted comments and reactions. This is a fast moving system and will end by 3 am. I simply pointed out we need max precip without virga between now and then. I hope you bode well tonight. No hard feelings. I am in the fan right now and that’s not what I’m seeing here at three monkeys . I’m seeing a moderate snowfall.
  14. No one is crying storm cancelled, let’s get that straight. Totals will arguably be less that forecasted. We have now maybe a 5 hour window of snow. Are you watching?
  15. Latest Graf is not good for Richmond. MAYBE 1.5.
  16. The dry slot will fill in. The issue is that this is a fast moving system. We need every bit of precip we can get. The longer the Virga the lower the totals. I’m now leaning on 1-2 for Richmond max.
  17. Getting very skeptical. Not being a downer but here in Richmond we will be lucky for 6 hours of snow. It really needs to get going.
  18. Also single rich woman town. A snow town you could also call it.
  19. We need this stuff to start falling soon. Window is very short.
  20. Go to NBC12 and look at their live radar. After that click the future option they use the GRAF.
