  1. 17” 3/14-3/15/17. Last one was 12/6-7 2003. That is at the airport of course, so surrounding areas get more. .
  2. Weather does what weather does. Is what is. At least I’m enjoying the ride. .
  3. Albany averages an 18”+ storm every 9 years. Last one was 2003. .
  4. Consistent 1.5 - 2” QPF here in Albany county. Getting exciterated. Love these stall and captures. I’m as excited about tracking this one as I am about experiencing it locally. Fun times ahead!!! .
  5. Very interesting setup...gonna be fun to watch. I like the well endowed precip shield. Big old bowling ball spreading the wealth. Sick of those mega bomb cyclones that give eastern Mass 30" and ENY gets 3" lol. Ill take this as the new norm please.
  6. I’m embarrassed to say after all these years I don’t know who or what “The Pope” is. Help please. .
  7. Too bad you’re 4.5 hours from me lol. I might try Stratton on Sat. .
  8. If it shows 20”+ bullseye over Albany County, it’s gotta be right. .
  9. I'm guessing that skiing on Friday will be pretty rough. I usually go every black Friday, but after this rainy mild up followed by cold, I'm imagining it will be pretty icy. I figure it will take a few days to resurface all of the open trails. I wonder if it will be better by Saturday. Maybe I'll go Sunday and try to score some freshies. Or if there is a snow day Monday, i'll hit that if the storm pulls through and the driving isn't too bad? Thoughts?
  10. GEFS are pretty far NW of the op. Hits finger lakes to NNE. Gonna be lots of weenie torture swings. I recommend that the emotionally unstable not follow every model run. Lots of potential with a side of might be disappointed. .
  11. 38F and rain here in the HV. Temp has crept up from 36 to 38 on a NW wind. Mesonet webcam in Medusa (SW Albany County 1247') still showing rain with 34/32F.
  12. Warmed up to 36.5, but some on and off pingers just starting mixing in.
  13. 36F here with rain. Light NNW wind. Had a coating of sleet last night but it's long gone. Hoping for some flakes later.
  14. Or in my case, will 225’ be enough lol. I’m thinking you’re in a pretty good place. Just gotta get the strong dynamics above you and boom. .
  15. Tracks low from Montauk, right up the canal. Model mayhem. Gonna be a fun one to watch. Narrow band of fun. .
  16. Holy crap! I like the part where you got better fast lol. Lingering injuries suck. They do say the last run of the day OSs the most dangerous. I guess we both support that theory. .
  17. Best of luck with your recovery! That sucks, but next season will come quicker than you think. It’s hard to tone it down lol. I’m 52 and was hitting the bumps and jumps like a kid yesterday at Killington. Took that one extra run and hit that last jump and next thing I I know I’m slamming into the ground into my right shoulder. Super sore today. I’m hoping I didn’t damage anything. I get over excited and forget to take it easy lol. .
  18. Killington was a blast today. Top to bottom. 10 trails. Good snow!! Light mood flakes all day!! .
  19. I’ve never skied New Hampshire or Maine. Gotta get over there. Vermont keeps getting in the way. .
  20. Just bought tickets for Killington for Monday! My niece is so excited that she’s worried that she won’t sleep Sunday night lol. They plan on starting top to bottom tomorrow. .
  21. They fired the guns up on North Ridge and Superstar early afternoon. It’s good time!!! .
