Please keep all that smoke up there.
Thanks!
We’ll keep the smoke, you keep the heat and humidity.

Only made it up to 67 after a forecast high of 76 due to all the smoke today. With the cold front tomorrow it might mix down to the surface here.
-
Crisp smoke filled sky this morning. Had a beautiful red sunrise.
-
Kinda ended up being an overcast day with all the smoke. I can’t remember seeing it this bad this early but nothing unprecedented.
We did manage to get up to 81 today. Backdoor cold front coming tonight will cool us off some.
-
Nice rainy weekend here, cool temps and needed moisture. Today looks warm, probably break above 80 degrees. Wildfire smoke from Canada is really noticeable today. We’ll see how thick it gets. Air quality alerts just north of here. Too early for this.

In a couple months, you'll wish it was like this LOL

Fully aware I’ll adjust and think this is nothing come July. It’s great for leisure right now, but working in it stinks. We’ve had the windows open in the house and it’s been wonderful all week.

It would be an endless circle of complaining. Sounds lovely!

High of 79 today. I’m hoping we get some decayed storms to limp over here overnight.

Wouldn't mind a real heat wave sooner than later
No thanks, perhaps if it comes with convection but please no more death ridge this summer.

There are a lot of dirt roads in Ohio. Where I grew up in SE Ohio there are more dirt than paved.
SE Ohio huh? Not sure if we’ve discussed before but I spent three years out of college working the oil fields around St. Clairsville, Woodsfield and Steubenville.

Very pleasant day with a high of 73 in Minneapolis. I think the entire neighborhood was outside.

just now leafing out? @weatherbo won’t have leaves on his trees until June at this rate. Sorry buddy.Just beginning yes. The lakes on the MN/Canada border still have 20”+ of ice on them.

Storms firing south of the metro. Another top shelf day, 64 and bubbling cumulus.
Leaf out is underway on a majority of trees in the city.

73 today. Light breeze. Just about perfect.

Anytime the dews get above 60 I’m miserable. Not fun at all to work outside in that crap. I’ll take 0 with a wind chill of -20 over summer heat everyday but I’m in the extreme minority.

Low of 37 here this morning and we are already into the low 50s. Should top out around 70 this afternoon.
Can it just stay like this all summer?

It has literally been pound town for about 13 hours now with in excess of a foot of snow. Remarkably power is still on but has been flashing. Another 24 hours of snow with 20" in the point yet to fall. This could be the densest snow I've ever witnessed.
Very curious what the snow/water ratio ends up at. Glad to hear you still have power, hopefully it stays on.

Crazy amount of raw QPF being thrown out by the models for the UP. This would be an issue in July if it was all rain, factor in the weight of snow, and swollen streams/saturated soils from snowmelt and this could be a big big problem. Hope you make it out unscathed @weatherbo
Wind has really picked up here, a few gusts around 40mph and sprinkles. Had a few ice pellets earlier this morning.

37 and light rain to close out April.
Some frozen stuff falling away from the core of the metro.

Cold front blasting through now. Should mix the smoke down to the surface, I’ll give a smell report later on.
