  1. Jump in the new run of the HRRR. Throwing Tulsa into the sleet by 10 PM instead of 1 AM.
  2. 31.9 in Skiatook now, looks like Tulsa is at 33.3.
  3. Wow! Small world! We are in Brookfield Crossing at N 115th E Ave.
  4. Also, you aren’t kidding, you really do live like right next to me. I’m about 1/2 a mile away from that neighborhood Walmart off 116th.
  5. Yeah, it's like christmas lights blinking around lol, pink, then blue, then green, etc.
  6. 100% this. What's the criteria anyhow? Greater than 1/2 the county to be included? 1/3? It's very unclear and doesn't paint a proper picture. What if I end up, in Collinsville, getting an ice storm while Bixby skirts by with cold rain? If I wasn't weather savvy, I would be surprised because there was no advisory or warning due to the current format.
  7. Hahah, yeah, Dew point temps are in the mid to upper 20's in NE OK, with those NE winds, that's going to mitigate that from moderating much. I really do think the eventual freeze line is going to be along Wagoner county east of Tulsa.
  8. NWS Tulsa has today’s high as 40...but it’s 2:30 and 35 right now. Idk if I see us warming 5 more degrees in the next 2 hours.
  9. Same up here in North Tulsa....couldn't be more on the line....its either going to be 32.5 degrees and raining, or 31.9 and freezing rain and sleet.....HRRR is just so so close...and let's face it....asking these models to predict the very mile marker of the freezing line isn't reasonable. So a 10 mile deviance is the difference between an ice storm and just a cold rain.
  10. I use weather bell(paid service), tropical tidbits, and college of dupage. Everyone once in a while will hop on weather.us as well.
  11. 18Z RDPS for those interested. Canadian has been doing a great job so far.
  12. Glad I changed it to Business Administration. Spoiler alert, being bad at math and going into meteorology don’t mix well!
  13. Tell you what, if the HRRR verifies I’ll have been right to put my money on the Canadian, haha. Also, Tulsa will be caught off guard because they’ve been saying cold rain for a couple days now on the news.
  14. I took a time lapse of me driving from Collinsville down to Broken Arrow on 169. What a change!
