  1. as I've been saying, the models have been exhibiting a severe cold bias in the long range for a while now, including the ensembles. Take the GEFS for example, you can't make this stuff up.
  2. lowkey sucked tbh. Thankfully, nothing like that looks to be happening this year.
  3. I mean average highs are rising rapidly still. At some point, below normal will actually feel quite pleasant.
  4. Hope to never see another April like 2018 again in my lifetime.
  5. They're not giving any reasoning for this, though.
  6. paving the way for a cold summer this year, can't wait!
  7. At least we're starting to get to that time of year where a little below normal doesn't feel bad
  8. We had a torch March in 2021. Sure, it wasn't 2012, but still a torch nonetheless.
  9. that seems high for a record low, kinda surprised by that.

  14. the MJO is moving in the right direction at least
  15. seems to me like we may be having a cold and dreary summer this year, which would suck, but I guess we're due for one.
  16. regardless of how the pattern in the extended plays out, I’m just glad we saw some actual warmth this month.
  17. 2013-14 made me forever despise winter, I think
  18. Considering you saw temps near 90, we certainly did have a bit of a Morch in April.
  19. Winter can be as mild and snowless as it wants as far as I’m concerned. Pulling for a super nino this year
  20. Barely hit 60 here, down into the 40s now. Being north of a frontal boundary this time of year is always brutal, but it’s climo after all.
