    12z Euro is crazy far south and slow at 5 days out and the portion that matters is at 7 days out. Far from settled.

    This is there still time to generate a new scenario but Northeastern US is probably in the clear. It takes a lot to get something into the Gulf of Maine.

    Wrong time of the year maybe. We are in that weird spot historically not enough cold fronts to get a 38' and ridges are too weak to get a Belle.

    Already is the case. Who knows if it gets stronger than expected that could mess with the ridge in either direction mostly in the bad. (if you don't want impacts)

    I have never seen a tropical cyclone track over the day 9 forecasted position. The pattern doesn't support a recurve it's more like a reload sequence in the flow and you will see the WAR flex (seasonal trend).

    Agreed the seasonal pattern favors landfallers actually. The anomaly has been the other thing.

    Euro is notoriously bad with modeling TC intensity so not much to say in this regard. Lower resolution ensembles don't help in this regard.
