Yep, maybe we can actually get some YAC this year from that position. I think that's where Beasley fell short bigtime last season. The wear and tear must be catching up.

It feels like Beasley has been in the league forever.  You're right; those hits take a toll, especially as an undersized receiver.  He got a lot of targets when he was on Dallas.

who wants warmth in march or april.. when you will have it all summer..it keeps the bugs away...the chilly weather...

I don't like the bugs either (biggest downside of summer in my view) but once you get a taste of the nice weather like we had on Friday, I'm all in on summery conditions.  I was actually annoyed that I had to put a jacket on this morning.:D

Browns fans are furious with this trade browsing the forums tonight. 250 million guaranteed and the compensation is insane 3 1st and 2 more picks. Watson is good but he is not worth that.

It's amazing how each new contract in the NFL seems to set some kind of record for compensation. It's really a game of "can you top this" with quarterback pay.  I guess that's how desperate teams are to get their hands on anyone who even holds the possibility of being the savior at that position.

Yeah, but the Browns window to win is now with their roster and they went and got the best QB they could, which I can never disagree with. Bills fans know the torture of below average QBs for 2 decades and how fun it is now. I think it's more the confusion of why they're giving up on Mayfield and mortgaging the future.

Mayfield was hurt last year but I read that the Browns felt there were attitude issues with him also.  Still, they could be trading one headache for another here.  Interested to see how it plays out.

They are giving up a lot for a guy who has great talent but tremendous risk to his career.

He's probably looking at a six-game suspension next season despite the criminal charges being dropped.  The Browns apparently structured the contract so that they're not paying out as much in 2022 to account for the probable suspension.  You're right though, that's a lot of money.

High temp of 72 here today, above forecast as usual. Temps almost always go several degrees above forecast here on sunny days.

Busting high definitely seems a lot more commonplace than busting low.

These are the unvaccinated players on the Yankees.. Pretty much their best players lol

    Aaron Judge
    Gerrit Cole
    Giancarlo Stanton
    Joey Gallo
    Jameson Taillon
    Luke Voit
    Clay Holmes
    Kyle Higashioka

What I question is the consistency of these rules.  Why can Kyrie Irving be in the stands, two feet away from the Nets' bench and not be allowed to play?  What is the difference at that point?  Why let him in the arena at all if public health is the concern?  I'm vaccinated and boosted but logic tells me that a lot of these regulations just don't make much sense.

    Hit 68 here...foreast high was 58

Forecast temps seem to overperform a lot these days.  Wonder if somebody could make a run at 80 on Friday...my high is projected to be 73.

There is nothing wrong with taking a week off. It would be more helpful than anything, your body needs time to heal. Especially being true if doing really intense workouts. Even more so as you get older.

Thanks.  Heard it can be helpful but figured I'd verify with some experienced lifters.  My training definitely took a hit during the peak of Covid but I've been in a pretty good groove for the last several months.  I do feel recharged.

    Winters are getting shorter

The seasons seem to have shifted a bit also.  It stays warm longer in the fall and it often takes longer to get extended periods of nice weather in the spring.

I LOVE snow and winter, but would never want it all year long. Winter all year would take away a lot of the variety that life has to offer.

Too much of a good thing.  I don't know how they do it in locales where snow is commonplace from October until April or May.

Could still be pretty high impact since no one is expecting it now and since there’s a high chance that what falls freezes up tomorrow night.

Don't need much precip to make things slippery either.  I saw a picture of a nasty multi-vehicle wreck on the Turnpike yesterday morning.  Apparently, one guy spun out and it caused a chain reaction.

Jack Eichel is such a whiny baby. Dude got beat bad tonight. Tuch and Krebs both scored and came from Vegas in a trade. Did anyone listen to his post game presser? Time to burn my Eichel jersey.

Need to give the fans something to get loud about, Jack.  I understand his injury issues but I think it's unfair to bash the fans.  Buffalo loves the Sabres but they're beaten down by so many years of failure and ineptitude.  That city would lose it if the Sabres made another deep Cup run or ever won it all.
