  1. Let's all drink and pretend that it's 50F colder and 6 months later.
  2. IAD also had a peak HI of 103 with 96/71 earlier. Though I've noticed that the HI on the NWS weather.gov page is always a degree higher than the HI shown on IAD 1-min obs page.
  3. Wednesday and Thursday also have potential if the front remains far enough north for us with at least modest/moderate shear.
  4. IAD actually getting down to a relatively cool 66F this morning.
  5. Probably not. Just some heavy rain, gusty winds and occasional lightning.
  6. 85/75 at IAD at 9:21am after a low of 77F this morning.
  7. My P&C for Herndon, VA shows 98F for Sat and 100F for Sun.
  8. I'm watching the line-segment currently in southeastern WV. If it holds together over the mountains it could be our main (or one of our) event(s).
  9. IAD currently at 80/77. Wearing the air.
  10. IAD gusted up to 74mph from that same storm as well. (June 14, 1989) So it must have been a monster of a storm by this areas standards for a while as it tracked east.
  11. Happy Birthday!... Unless you just got bored and decided to post that you got older today as you do everyday. Which is true. Well you've had at least two prior birthdays since joining so... Happy Birthday either way! Since I've probably missed some in the past few years.
  12. Radar estimates of ~1.5" here (Herndon, VA). IAD with 2.32" so as of 6:52am. I was near the northwest edge of the blob.
  13. A trace here so far... and that was early yesterday morning around 6:05am.
  14. A Flood Watch? @BlizzardNole Oof... and with that, there goes any small chance you had of getting good rain. Better get watering!
  15. I'm watching the activity associated with the MCV over southern PA, far northern MD and into the panhandle of WV. Watching to see how they do with limited sunshine approaching from the west on satellite. At the high-end they could potentially become a less severe version of July 29, 2021 last year which had a similar situation with an MCV sparking off supercells with a particularly intense one going through the Fredericksburg area then. There's, of course, also the chance that they just fizzle out.
  16. Your area sure has cashed in a lot within the past year or so.
  17. Happy Birthday Mr. Skeleton! How DO you keep yourself from being blown away when chasing them hurricanes?
