  2. Just me being Curious George but does anyone know what the current GLAAM state is? I'm guessing that it must be higher(more +) than one would normally expect given the Nino-like pattern in a low-end moderate Nina?

  5. Very true. I'm actually talking about the lows areawide in general though. Ex: IAD forecast low was 7F. With wind we'd usually end up at ~9F give or take a degree (courtesy of mixing). I'm just happy to be fully performing with something other than heat lol.
  6. Well I'll be... we're, for once, actually at the least hitting the forecasted lows with a bit of wind. We are usually end up a few degrees above forecast... nice.

  12. I'd actually wondered lately whether I was spoiled because those strings of good Decembers in the 2000's happened to occur when I was a kid. IMBY and FY in Herndon, VA the last 3 Marches that had a warning level snow event here was in 2018, 2015 and 2014. Meanwhile the last time I experienced a warning level event in December was in 2009. Snow month rankings for the majority of this region: 1. February 2. January 3. March 4. December
  13. Just had a 20-30 second burst of heavy graupel that quickly coated the street in Herndon with that line... then it was back to lightish rain and a breeze. Those 20-30 seconds were neato though.
