    Sure but I'd take 2 inches of snow on the backend over 6 inches on the front any day. To each their own, I just hate my snow turning to slop. Would probably need double digits to feel like it was worth it, unless it ends as just some drizzle like last year in November.

    As it stands, I think LI could get a few inches widespread. The city seems too close to the edge of any decent rates.

    The city has been a veritable snow hole. Lift the NW, ocean convection to the SE...God I miss Ellicott City, MD. 20 mins west of Baltimore on a sweet little hill.

    Eh it never really ripped. Sure in mid January with good temps we would've picked up a couple or so, but there really wasn't much action to speak of.

    Upton upped my totals to 3-5"...They really need to hire onsite obs, or they're going to continue to put themselves behind the 8 ball on pulling advisories and warnings.

    Yeah earlier someone on the UWS was saying it was 'ripping' with 'an inch' otg already. I'm about a mile from there and that was never the case.

    Yeah I'm clinging to this hope. It's thinking there's going to be some redevelopment as it gets cranking off the Cape.

    Like I said, not saying it's over, but if it doesn't redevelop then it absolutely is. Otherwise, don't know what radar you're looking at or what window you're looking out of. Admire your adamant loyalty to optimism though.

    Do you realize that there's absolutely nothing to indicate that's true outside certain models? Not saying it's impossible, but you're acting like it's guaranteed because a computer says so.
