The NAM has been reasonably accurate in the last two garbage systems, and seems entirely plausible. I wish I could feel comfortable ignoring it, because its says I am on the outside looking in.
Box's conservative approach seems to have been quite reasonable. I'm sure more adjustments will come, but it won't be oversteer.
What a headache if the GFS/Euro are obstinate.
When temps and terrain matter or its a simple clipper, I like the NAM. However, systems still developing, tons of variables and pieces of energy at play, I don't trust it.
I was kind of laughing at the high numbers getting thrown around but the flaccid water vapor image makes me think the GFS is on this one.

2.8" but add in 50+mph gusts, 14 hours without power and cooking on a fire, and chances for snow Sat-Monday. Fun weather week imo.

Approaching an inch. Still baking soda. 17*; DP 14*.

Dutch Hill laps tomorrow. Bet they grab 8"+.

Love it. Nadda on radar the drive home but baking soda at a good rate the whole drive home. 0.5" at home now.

Truck and driveway got a quick coating. Got a couple house shaker winds that woke us up around 4:15 this morning. Going to be a long day.

What a fun little mountain, their trees are great. I really like the tight pines to skiers right of liftline. Props to everyone that helps clear lines in the offseason.
I believe you are mentioning Voodoo which has had more work put into it in recent years than any other. Definitely some tight spaces and amazing if you are one of the first couple down it. I think in future years more will be done on the west side since the east side is almost tapped out. I think folks work just as hard to hide entrances as hard as they work to clear lines. The names are pretty fantastic as well (e.g.,Up Your Skirt, Shazam)

Magic survived today. Thurs-Fri were awesome. The ears had you thinking it was hard pack and crunch but it was a semi-pow day. Still some woods with 5-6" of fresh.

Widespread 2-4" Wednesday. Any other winter would be semi-interesting, but this winter its a 40-page thread.

The pack lives on...

Half baking soda and half big flakes. Would love to see this continue.

Nice coating down in 15 minutes. Decent snow growth thus far.

Heading to Magic for Thursday and hoping for the best. Could be one of those deals where Bromley down the road with the 500' higher base does a ton better.

Sweet morning. Going to ski some low angle stuff in the notch later.

3.8".
Broke 30" for the year.

Over 2" down since 10:45. Cranking here.
Edit: Actually measured 2.7" at 12:25.

Freezing rain and 28* at UMass and 37* with rain at our house on the hill in Belchertown 10 miles away. Cold air just sinking down in the valley.

Best snow squall I've seen in years just came through while driving home from Northampton. Solid 1" in about 20 minutes and just dumping massive cotton balls. Hope it stays together for you folks in the eastern part of the state.

5.5-6" depending where I measure. Only grabbed about 4" from 11pm on. Still an awesome pasty sight outside. 39" on the year.
