  1. 18Z HRRR colder at the surface but warmer aloft than 12z for our area.
  2. I bet 15 minutes up 202 in Shutesbury at almost 1,300' gets a lot more than we do. Such a cool spot.
  3. Yea, I would save the time and call out for next Sun-Mon's storm lol
  4. I think we have more overs than unders on NWS maps this season. Previous deals like this we typically do 2-3" more than lower valley sections like Amherst and Northampton. I think @HIPPYVALLEY does well and pushes 6" being further north. Weenie mode: engage.
  5. 0.9. Love going for a run in this type of cold with a clear night sky.
  6. Happy to see the Bruins break the curse in Washington. Sometimes those visors do more harm than good. Anyone know what the trainer was trying to clog Marchand's nose with? Never seen that before.
  7. Belchertown screw zone. 9* outside but shorts and a t-shirt inside.
  8. Current wind chill on Mount Washington of -76. Damn.
  9. These little streamers are pretty fun to see today. One up on Rt. 2 area now. From Berkshire East.
  10. Right? There was a couple minute period when it was going pretty good. Still dropping cat paws here.
  11. Roads and surfaces are covered, a little streamer has been sitting over us for about 30 minutes now. Some of the best rates of the year sadly.
  12. It is running wild in the valley. Our kiddos school has 5 classrooms with 10-12 toddlers to preschoolers in each room. This week they only had 3 rooms open with 2-3 kids in each room.
  13. Not sure how far of a trip it is for you but when they get some natural Black Mountain of Maine has some pretty amazing glades. Black Mountain NH has some pretty under rated terrain as well. Obviously both are smaller and have older lifts but it keeps the crowds away. And tickets are really cheap. I think NoBoundaries is doing a "free day" at BMOM.
  14. Sorry to hear about your day! Here is a voucher for a free hot chocolate!
  15. Not sure if it is too far off-shore for radar to pick-up or what but the convection off the Carolinas seems to have dissipated since 5/6pm.
  16. The only building left now is the stone club house for the golf course on one of the islands out of Gate 43. Was a popular spot during prohibition. This is a decent watch. I figured they would be closing up quickly with the number of teachers out and lack of subs. My wife's still hasn't yet despite everyone around them being closed and they are beyond short-staffed.
  17. Weird area. 19" overnight and 27" in 24 hours in early December 2018(?), Stowe got about 5-6" and a total of about 10". I remember being torn between the two on my drive up and couldn't believe the SB report. A memorable one. Hiked over to Castlerock and ran into John Atkinson et al. doing photo shoots before it officially opened, there were 5-6' drifts on the waterbars of the Lift Line.
  18. Any way to look for potential screw holes/poor growth areas or is it generally just around the areas that receiver better banding?
  19. I think it's an easy excuse for something other than the weather. Never had internet issues with them in 3+ years (other than losing power), it has been in and out multiple times this morning.
