  1. Dusting of snow now pounding graupel.
  2. Looks like we will head up to ski Pleasant tomorrow night. Damn kid is skiing as much as she is in school the past month.
  3. It's such a gem. My last run was at 3:30 and there were still fresh turns in glades on the map. I didn't even bother with the Moxie hike.
  4. I don't know ow how much snow fell at home in Gray but I saw 3-4" per stuff at Black Mountain in Rumford with 3-4'+ drifts. Several kids had to be dug out of the glades/tree wells there today. At a couple points I was chest deep.
  5. Quite the bump up for most. I think Friday night we were 4-6" and now on the edge of the 8-12" range.
  6. U.S. vs. Canada in Nations Face-Off. Happy the NHL replaced the All-Star game with this.
  7. Grilling steak in the dumping snow and watching the craziest hockey I've seen. Cheers to winter.
  8. Gonna be a lot of pissed off folks when most lifts are on windhold. A skinners' delight!
  9. Yea, everyone at Hannaford in Gray was surprised. Moderate snow since around 7:00 here.
  10. Her teacher is absolutely incredible, and trying to get 15 kindergarteners on their iPads, direct them, etc. is a goat rodeo. Plus, they only had activities until 11:30 to make it basically count as a half day. Might as well go skiing. In the future I'm just going to plan for a day off.
  11. Yup, 1-2" of compact baking soda, moderate sleet started about 10 minutes ago.
  12. Still pounding baking soda here. I've learned a "remote day" for a Kindergartener is chaos so we are just going to head over to ski at Pleasant.
  13. Just went from pounding baking soda to big flakes in the past few minutes. Radar looks good for @tunafish
  14. Because you want to ski by yourself? lol
  15. Just under 10". Could clear the steps with the broom.
  16. Our daughter woke up and snuck into bed around 4am, I peeked at the radar and thought "welp, so much for that 4-6."About 8-10" down and still dumping here.
  17. About 4" down and starting to rip. 12z RGEM was good at sniffing out the banding
  18. The typical pivot should give us a couple more hours of decent bands and light snow at the end. Since moving here I've always been surprised by how much storms linger for a couple extra hours.
  19. About 1.5" here in the past hour. I'm thinking we do 5-6" given the banding on radar is a little bit better NE than modeled.
  20. We will be busting high in Gray. Been ripping since about 7:30 and we are already at 4".
  21. A dusting in Auburn when I left the rink, hit a wall of snow on the way home and pushing 3" in the driveway. Wasnt expecting this so early.
