  2. Lots of solutions recently from the GFS and Euro, but w/ the cold and pattern being perfect and seeded with unpredictable shortwaves, it just appears to want to snow or ice in our sub around the 6th, details tbd. i am excited
  3. This. I know suppression can be a concern, but this forum is always harping on it not being cold enough. Then, we get excellent cold being modeled and we have folks harping on suppression! Lol The way I see it, it snows a lot in Canada and Alaska and Siberia, etc. It is pretty cold in those places.
  4. Had a little bit of snow overnight.
  5. More snow than sleet now and 32°. I just went on a JebDrive (aka beer run). Back roads near my house are caving.

  13. That’s nearly an inch of snow accumulation then. Doesn’t matter how long it lasts with regards to accumulation. As far as snowfall, it was probably more since some melted upon impact with the ground. You would need a frozen board to measure snowfall.

  18. I chased snow by Jeb hiking up to Little Bald Knob (4350’) in northern Augusta County yesterday. It was awesome!
  19. I have had above average snow 3 of the last 6 winters out here in western Augusta County. The 3 that weren't had really awful totals, but it hasn't been horrible here all things considered.
  20. Started off rain here as expected. Snow started mixing in within minutes. Temp is 38 and dropping fast. Should be all snow for about 3 hrs with some good rates. LFG! NW of Staunton
