Maybe they’re right but it does seem like the GFS has been leading the way lately. It hasn’t been the most accurate here with snow totals but it’s had the right idea

It’s a very complex setup so maybe the models just don’t know how to handle both systems

GFS has trended less and less since 00z run

Wow! GFS was huge step backwards. We don’t get anything Saturday. Even SE VA gets only about an inch or two

We’ve seen this before too. Doesn’t happen as often but it happens. Hampton Roads area gets crushed while we get fringed.
