  1. Nice, slower moving means more hours of snow.
  2. No negative posts. The NAM is better because I see more blue pokey snow out into kentucky
  3. I have no idea what I'm reading when knowledgeable posters post but this is my summary
  4. Bring it home @ravensrule. Long live king NAM
  5. Heavy wind. Power flickering now and then since 4pm.
  6. Per CAPE's post, it's gonna be cold with whatever falls. 850s and surface look great on that GFS run. Cold smoke. But I'd like to pull that boundary inland a bit!
  7. The LP never consolidates on this run, it has a dual low structure the whole way from GA out past the benchmark area. Not a met, no idea what to make of that, but looks weird
  8. Cold rain today in February in primo climo is much more tolerable when we've had several nice snow events. And maybe some more to come. It's even pleasant to watch the mod-heavy liquid precip
  9. Trop tiddies has the euro ai under the global models, with limited outputs. But only at 00z and 12z. The 6 and 18 runs are on paid sites
  10. Another deal like last week where only a few out of fifty members show no snow at this range. Last week, it snowed. It's gonna snow. Still too early to set the bar/expectations re: totals. Will start doing that tomorrow
  11. Maybe the Euro AI is only based off of data from 2017-2024 when it basically never snowed, so it can't handle a TUCKED FOLKS.
  12. definitely the usual suspects sweating over not getting a jackpot.
  13. i am annoyed at myself for dissecting this day 10 AI run, but i'll pass on the torching 850s and screaming easterlies as that bad boy tucks way too far inland.
  14. Indeed. Setting us up for an epic meltdown afternoon if 12z doesn't hold serve lol
  15. Long range thread hysterically awful
  16. Yeah I see nothing wrong with those maps. It's rare we win on coastals. Usually it's like the beaches and the Eastern shore that win in the lowland coastal situations. I bet this one comes NW
  17. Sun peeking out here in Silver Spring, drip drip drip
