Thank you! This is the time that I start to worry that all the models will be wrong. I’m in Fairfax, but I noticed NWS lowered expected snowfall for Southern MD, which surprised me.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. Lost my mom in July and miss her very much. She didn’t particularly like snow, but she would always patiently listen to my crazy excitement over the latest snow forecasts and fantasy snow models. I told my dad in Southern MD that he needed a snow blower this winter. It was delivered today.

I’m just around Fairfax City and I was thinking we might get in on the banding. We typically do well with it. I am rather surprised that they upped the numbers so quickly. High ratios possible, I guess.

Didn’t we get a surprise boom on PD 2003 due to Low pressure parking? I’m so hoping that the NAM is right. I know you are excited.

I am hoping that is the case. The past few years they have actually been too aggressive, but I hope we are now in a pattern that keeps them upping the ante! Those are my favorite storms!

I feel so bad that you are missing this! But I guess much of it is the chase. Your analysis leading up to this storm have been incredible! Hope you are enjoying yourself and make it back before we get a big one!

I have a friend who moved from Chantilly to CHO a couple of years ago. She cashed in on snow in Dec. My son has a couple of friends heading back early to UVA today. You will do well down there again!

Good morning from Fairfax! It was fantastic to wake up to an upgrade to WSW! I’m very optimistic about an over performing storm tonight and tomorrow. I keep raising the bar for mby. Earlier this week I was hoping for 3”, then 5”, now I expect 6”, but 8-10 would make me ecstatic! Just need the low to park where it needs to. We typically do quite well in Banding from the coast. Hope everyone around here does well! Currently 27/19 DP
