  1. Yeah this band is crushing. Picked up over an inch in 30 minutes
  2. Same here, white out conditions. The occasional burst of sleet, but big flakes coming down
  3. Same here, rates just haven't been consistent other than a brief hour from 12 to 1pm where I got 2.5". After that it's been 0.5-1.5" rates varying back and forth
  4. The heavy yellow/oranges on radar could just be bright banding of the sleet. We saw it in March 2017. Heavy DBZ returns but all sleet. Luckily, it appears on CC its trying hard to mix out
  5. It absolutely is mixing out. You're gonna be in the sweet spot to catch the pivot.
  6. Plenty of blocking for next weekend's threat
  7. Obviously a storm that tucked would rain lol, but good storm signal regardless!
  8. 2.5" in the past hour. But I hear pingers again lol. Unbelievable. Storm total up to 9.25".
  9. Some of these snowflakes I don't think could physically be bigger. Gigantic! Dumping snow currently and a complete white out
  10. It's incredible we're on the same latitude and you're at 10", and I'm probably nearing 7 only. But the sleet line is dropping south here and whatever goods just went through there should move through here soon!
  11. I think areas like western Berks will still end up with storm totals around 12-14". I still think we rock and roll this afternoon. Time will tell, this sleet is sure as heck annoying
  12. Just measured 0.75" of pure sleet on the board, 6.75" storm total. But snow depth is only about 6" with the sleet compaction.
  13. Any reports from northern Lehigh county around Northampton, New Tripoli, etc?
  14. Use CC radar guys to check the progression of the mix line. It definitely appears to be dropping south https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/?parms=DIX-N0C-1-24-100-usa-rad
  15. Yeah was gonna say the same thing, it appears that the mix line is trying to wash out and move south as this backs in from the east
