  1. Well, you got to miss a lot of whining and complaining, overboard expectations, etc. In other words, typical of an event thread here! But otherwise, welcome to the party!!
  2. Wow...seems the GGEM has had the wildest swings in the past couple of days, west/east.
  3. LOL!! It could be showing us 12-24" and we'd still hear complaining!
  4. Agree. Right now with the GFS it's looking more possible for a general 2-4" kind of event, even if we don't get much into the "coastal game." If we do get more from that over time, all the better.
  5. True. But when it's like 10 posts in a row strung together, it's pretty aggravating, even if each one is short. Maybe that's an exaggeration on my part, but I have seen that, several posts one after another.
  6. Ridge axis isn't in as good a spot either, too far west, compared to earlier. Not sure if that's the effect of the energy being left behind in the southwest, or if it's causing that.
  7. Well, I wouldn't go so far as wanting to see that this event teases us and then we get whiffed...but damn, his shtick grows REALLY old for sure!
  8. "You make me want to be a better poster!"
  9. Yes, very true! It was not the same kind of set up by any means. We were lucky to have everything perfectly placed for that to happen, in that situation.
  10. Yes, the Feb. 9-10, 2010 storm was perhaps about the best case scenario of a Miller B working out here. It bombed out in just the right place (off coastal NJ, if I recall correctly?) and sat there or moved slowly. And we had the upper low go right through us too, I think.
  11. Hahaha, you made me go and look at that! Damn that is gorgeous and classic way to get a good snow here! I know it's only an ops model at range, but that scenario has shown up a couple or so times during that approximate time frame.
  12. I'm just amazed (and happy) that we even have a shot at a few inches from this event. And it would probably be of the cold powder variety given the temps. Given that, who gives a s**t how much NYC or BOS get or if they get crushed, if we at least share in some decent stuff too.
  13. Yup, that's the main take-away. So instead of wide right, we hit the goal post this time and it managed to bounce through for a FG!
  14. Unreal! What a 4th quarter. ETA... Hopefully the Bills keep them off the board for the last 13 sec.!
  15. Yeah for sure. At this point I'm honestly not sure how much any subtle changes will make a difference in the overall scheme, but we'll have to wait and see. I really wouldn't mind right now if we can get the kind of "scraps" like the CMC showed earlier, like 2-4" cold powder (or even 3-5" if we dare to dream!). Then who cares what New England gets as long as we don't get shut out.
  16. Damn. Wide right yet again. Beginning to resemble FSU kickers from the early 1990s!!!
  17. Tough choice, I know! Maybe add "root canal" to your list of things to decide on that might be as much fun. Those are always good (and yes, I've gotten a root canal once!).
  18. Hey there @WxWatcher007...totally agree with you!! Having grown up in the snowbelt area of northeast Ohio, the rates in some of those lake bands is incredible. And just awesome to experience as well!
  19. Honestly, it's primarily one particular person in there now. Maybe some find his schtick a bit humorous, but it grows old real quick.
