  1. I would drive there a ton in snow or 2200’ on top of route two that hill at The park in Savoy goes to 2400’ . Different world there!
  2. Killington should be going to town on top half
  3. Savoy reporting snow now , my guess is Mitch is flipping now if he hasn’t already
  4. Looks like I’m gonna go for a hike in am around 2.5-3K assuming it snowed . Mount Kersearge or Kanc. I’m not feeling like driving around to midnite after training several hours and waiting for a flip gotta fold em for now
  5. Meso scale analysis shows 925’s need to fall. coldest is 0-1 from Springfield mass to Lawrence mass and 25 miles either side savoy is mixing with snow as of 8pm
  6. Weenie drive in an hr 20. Just one more hour of training
  7. You do have possibly the highest elevation on this region at 1180’ prob falling to a 36-37 rain w snow above 1700-1800’
  8. The kick east in last 12 hours kept this from being very impactful above 1800’ imo. look at echoes well east of NJ moving east while the stuff over NJ NYS W.CT stream NE disjointed looking like a nice 4 hour burst for many w snow above 2K imo
  9. Outer cape won’t happpen James . Too far too much traffic . Now if there was a cane, ...I’m there!!
  10. Gfs would do that lol ukmet went east as well lol about 75 miles easy f’n Lucy
  11. Thanks Will , my only concern with a 9pm drive is being in such a remote area (western monads) where there will certainly not be plows out and if this did go to town down to 1500’ ...I’d be stuck ..huddling by the side of the road next to Jebediah Springfield’s house dodging falling branches and moon-shiners...But we shall see . I’m looking for roads in around 2K .
  12. Def not going to Maine , I don’t necessarily need it to be snowing , just arriving to a plastering was really wondering where you beleive there will be best shot of high totals not driving tonight to Stoddard and getting stuck in 5 inches of mashed taters at 2am lol
  13. Will if you had day off Tuesday and were chasing snow on this one , where would you go tues am. Monads, or Kanc?
  14. That doesn’t look like half foot to you. babe I swear ..it’s 6”
  15. Wish we had a moon-shiner in stoddard-Nelson-Washington area at 2K that logged in. Looks like outages there
  16. That’s how it looks to me at 1K . Some forecasts have a bit more “surprise” potential thou that you can’t sleep on. Just look at the HREF link scooter showed last page and look at max snowy(ensemble). Had 6-8 N ORH over to Ashby
  17. He at what 2200’. Most of his falls between 5-11pm
  18. The weather has been great ! No need for 80. this weekend looks solid and Mostly Dry. 65-70. Perfect temps
  19. Of course the snow will fall, just not in ORH and very unlikely below 800’. the whole time it’s been looking hard to bring thing but an inch of slop below 1000 feet in SNE but Savoy, Heath and Rowe all near 2K will probably see some accumulation , that dry slot swingup will prob limit their’s to 2-4” outside shot of 6” . As far as S VT SW NH up above 1500’ seems obvious that it’s gonna snow and snow quite hard . Question there is will it be 1200’ or 2000’ We forecast based on model soundings not the calendar . If the sounding consistently support 80 In late Feb it will hit 80. If they continuously show snow at 2K in mid May it will snow. ....
  20. Seems to me reminiscent of that event in April or March where Gene was waiting for best lift to back in but that stayed east of 93 and lower elevations N of Downtown Portland Cashed in And otherwise you had to go to exit 33 to see snow on 93 . Could see that happening as it seems that first band of lift swings thru 8-9pm until 1-3am and snow with that will be confined to 1500’ or higher and be mostly west of Maine then dry slot then areas in whites have a longer period Tuesday of some poundage and areas n of Portland see more developed mid level banding flashing over potentially Rush hour as that area of life reaches Portland as storm closes off .
  21. For Non mountain locations i would prolly roll with an area like Randolph NH around 1800’ (grassy lane)
