It’s the politics (so to speak ) of professionally forecasting tropical systems on gulf coast .
If someone gets 40” of rain and you forecast 10” ...not good for you .
Much more forgiveness over preparing people within the realm of model error ...instead of saying simply what you believe is most likely

There is a shot the big 19c + 850’s Stay to the S and Sw of lava rock and at 700’ he may be not thaat bad .
dews per gfs are mid 60’s early pm to 70 after evening for that part of Maine
Right now I would say the goal posts are as high as 95@ 700’ to around 85 for Saturday w a likelihood of a high around 90 with upper 60’s dews
It’s a pretty good Formula
and with powderfreak upslope forecasts you add 30% to his forecast amounts
to be clear I’m not doing a comparison between powder posts and Rev’s lol. Just forecast snow amounts . Rev is in a universe all his own
