    With the way the temps are showing next week & after. I would say February could be active south of TN.

    You said a last minute jog North would happen. I bet when it gets even closer there will be hardly any frozen in TN. Maybe very far NW corner.

    For me once soccer goes full swing I’m ready for spring. The way the butter cups & grass is greening up. I would say winter is pretty much done. Especially with the warmer temps coming next week. 60’s+. Spring will be showing signs all over.

    With soccer going full swing starting this weekend. I would take a warm spring. I will definitely be mowing my yard the next couple weeks. Green & growing.

    Tomorrow near 60 & Sunny then week after mid 50’s to 60. Yeah not gonna complain. Better than 33 & rain.

    I will take the rain over ice any day. We are heading to Gatlinburg for a soccer showcase. I’m just fine with some rain. Looks now it will be chilly but dry. That sounds great!

    I will take a HARD PASS on any ice! The extreme cold temps already damaged many of the evergreens & shrubs. Sheesh last thing we all need is trees to be damaged also.

    Well, let’s also remember this weeks Storm was showing up on models consistently at 7 to 8 days out for the I44 area.

    Somehow I believe that prediction will have a high chance of verifying . Warm winters & cold springs are almost guaranteed here anymore.

    Not going to lie. I hope that warmup is the 3rd-5th. My daughter has a soccer showcase tournament in Gatlinburg that weekend. Wx like today would be much appreciated!

    The GFS has definitely lost all its screws. Tonight it will be the complete opposite.
