    I’m starting to get concerned with the endless possibilities of no rain for the foreseeable future. From wet to dry. That’s how it goes.

    Well we know the GFS is over calculating the heat. We know the Canadian is over calculating the chill. Somewhere in the middle which still is not fall!

    Sadly close to a goose egg here for my area. Some good rains to my west & east. With the dry & heat coming back. It is going to delay me planting new landscaping. Yard was struggling from heat till this break. 2 weeks it will be brown. I’m past the mood to water it.

    Even with all the cloud cover & storms. Humid is an understatement. If the sun was out ouch.

    78 forecasted temp here on Tuesday. In August! Incredible! Almost halfway through August already. More rain & storms moving in. Was supposed to be dry weekend. That did not pan out.

    Sorry. I should have said here in Mid TN. It’s been overall a great summer. Everything is green & only a few bouts of hot temp periods.

    The awesome summer continues. Hopefully August will continue to be nice wet and cooler as it has been so far. Supposed to only be 79 here Tuesday loving it.

    My father-in-law was there camping. It took them two hours to get out.

    Thankfully no one is seriously hurt. Crazy how wx can be so unpredictable. That is pretty significant damage. I’d say definitely EF1 maybe low end EF2.

    It’s amazing how wet this summer has already been. If we don’t dry out some it could set us up for some major flooding issues going into fall & winter. Long way out but I don’t see the wet weather shutting off anytime soon.

    The incredible summer of wet & not hot continues. My monthly HVAC usage report for June was 98 hours less cooling than last June. I’m thinking July will be less cooling days than last July. Said average high temp. for June was 86. Last year it was 88. Now hopefully winter does the opposite of predicted & gives us SNOW!

    Looks to be pretty wet starting tomorrow night through Friday could be some local flash flooding.

    The wonderful summer continues in my opinion. Had some good rains yesterday. Today the lower humidity has been wonderful. Got a lot of my shrubs trimmed. I will take summers like this every year. It’s nice to have everything green.

    I can’t explain it. No one could explain it. Most were like why is the ocean so cold. Even locals don’t remember it ever being that cold.

    I’m at the beach in Perdido Key. Interesting occurrence for end of July. The ocean is cold. Everyone is talking about it. Even the workers are talking. No one understands why it’s cold. Which may help with red tide & hurricanes?

    Is it summer yet? Lol after the cold spring I really appreciate this wonderful summer it has been so far. The beach is next week for my family then soccer season games is in full swing starting first day of August. It does appear it’s going to feel like the tropics here later this week. It is very nice to see green instead of brown this time of year. My yard says thank you along with my water bill.

    Absolutely spectacular wx today. This evening no humidity & slight chill. Incredible mid July & like this. Everything is green & nice soaking rains this weekend. Appears storm chances are coming later this week. High humidity should mean some downpours. Possibly strong storms. Give me a good lighting show at night please. Hopefully next week at beach wx is dry during daytime & lighting over the ocean at night.

    Thing about this NW flow is definitely the BN temps so far for June which has been great. The wetter pattern is definitely helping also. The bad is to the smoke will continue to affect air qualities for much of us all summer if this continues. It does appear the Canadian wildfires will continue all summer is what is being forecasted. Very sad for the wildlife & nature & environment overall.

    The tornado in Alberta Canada today left me speechless. It was massive & violent.

    It appears today the heat will be muted here in middle Tennessee as the storm complex is making its way here. One less day of heat I will take. The 100 degree day that was forecasted tomorrow is now only 97 forecasted here.
