Monday/Tuesday next week has me very intrigued at this point. Euro much more aggressive with it. The energy at the 500mb levels get their act together and nearly get negatively tilted. The GFS is much less aggressive. The energy is more stretched out. Never really allowing it to get going. Lots of members on the EPS also show a more dynamic system. GEFS has some, but still seems kind of lost on much of a system. Definitely something to watch in the next few days. Hopefully things start trending toward the Euro.

I would love for people to stop arguing in the main thread… that is all. .

18z HRRR is THUMPING after a couple hours of some dynamic cooling happens in

my concern at this point is that the DWTD usually gets closer than what is modeled. Warm air advection is not always modeled well.

Yea definitely not very impressive. I have some snow falling, but it isn't much. Front hit my house about 5:10 am. Went from 40° to 32° in the last 40 minutes. Winds sound impressive. Gusting to 30 mph at my house.

I'm going to bed soon, but doing one last look into the modeling. Honestly, I am feeling better about this burst of snow. Most models have come up today and the NAM (I know, its the NAM) is showing remnant snow pivoting through christmas eve. Would make for the perfect festive scene. I'll be up early. See everyone then!
