    Just a really fast band. Because it’s so cold anything that is falling is sticking. I wouldn’t even call it a dusting that I just got. It is snowing very fine and light again. .

    100% radar scope. Can’t beat it. I think it’s $10 for the year. But very worth it. No can do on the garage door. Sorry. .

    Yes! Usually the first ones to hear the sound of sleet pelting our windows.. this time we made it. It was awesome to get a taste of what the areas around the lakes get to experience. Crazy rates and an even crazier gradient. .

    Thank you. I appreciate the post. I know not everyone got it today, but I hope we can all cash in on a good one when the pattern flips back in Feb. For now, outside of a few snow showers tomorrow, we’ve got some rain to contend with over the next 10 days .

    8.25 is what I measured in my yard. Far southern part of Bethel Park 5” of that coming over the span of 5 hours this evening Craziness in that band of LES I was happy with the 3.25 that fell all day. .

    Same. About .5 mile from. Will be interesting to see if our measurements match up .

    I’ll let you know what I have. That band was awesome. I wouldn’t be surprised if I have a similar number outside. .

    So at your house it fell short by .5 “ of the NWS call. Gotta keep things in perspective. .

    This band is fun. Great rates. I’m up to 5.5” on the ground. I didn’t measure the last storm so I don’t know how much I had before. But I measured about 3.5 at 4:30. 5.5 at 6 pm. .

    Just measured 3.5 for the total. Still watching that mondo band work its way down here. If it moves over me, I’ll go over 4 easy .

    I got clipped by it. Man it was awesome. Total weenie mode. I’m out for now (still some light snow) but I’m hoping to get back in it .

    That sucks to not break the streak of 3"+ events. Still a chance at the airport, but i bet there will be some in the area that go over the 3" mark. Will be interesting to see how the snow fell across the county

    starting to see some of the banding pivot towards our area. Should be very scattered by nature for the rest of the afternoon.

    Ehh… maybe I’m being too positive. I don’t see anything wrong with the 3-5 forecast. Sometimes you end up on the low end. .

    is it snowing where everyone is?? I have snow falling and will for several hours. WV looks good. Radar looks weak, but it was never going to look amazing. We were expecting 3-5" over the span of 14 hours. What kind of rates did you think we were getting?
