Sunday is the clipper no?

Interesting to hear Smily this morning talking about accumulations of more than 1" for next tuesday. I think he is talking about the bowling ball of a cut off low that is going to find itself sitting out over Arizona. The GFS shows this eventually getting caught up in a relatively zonal flow and moving east towards us with some form of precipitation. From what I can tell, the GFS is the only one picking up on this energy moving in our direction. Euro has it south and never really materializing. Am I missing something here?

Same here and a few streamers coming in from the north. Doesn't look like anything substantial, but maybe if you get under something decent, you can pick up another 1/4-1/2 inch.

Clippers can be super fun. 2-5 inches over the span of 8-12 hours. I'll take that. Especially with some snow already on the ground

All that panic for nothing lol. I will say that I was definitely on the low end of the accumulations. 9.1 at kpit. 6.3 grand total at my house in mt Lebanon. The lowest I thought possible was 6. So I guess we nailed it .

This is a very good point. It was remarkable watching the trend in the storm track from run to run. Before we knew it the track was straight up the apps.

From what I have seen, biggest total from the storm is Ashtabula. The very northeastern corner of Ohio. 25.5”. What a wild night on the lake shore .

Lots of these reports coming via social media. You think its possible that some of these are being measured in an area where there was drifting rather than actual snowfall numbers?

I got some awesome pictures from my family today. Mom and Dad still live in Youngstown. They were expecting 12"+ and that is what they got. My sisters live around Cleveland. They woke up yesterday thinking 4-6" of snow just south of Cleveland. My sister measured 13.2 this morning at 7am. Looked awesome. Definitely jealous of the total, but i love the way it looks outside right now. 6+ on the ground and good rates coming down. Disappointing, but such is the game. I'll take the beauty any day.

6.0" down here in the south hills. Still snowing. Measuring is pretty difficult considering the blowing and drifting.

Good news about going forward now. The snow ratios should be much better than what they were. 12:1 or more

Guess what... Its snowing again The roads have a fresh coat of white and im happy again. Its amazing how it can lift one's spirits.
