guys, you gotta get real about the warming though…it’s not like a constant trajectory that’s gonna be infinite. New York is not going to become the new Florida. What do you think you’re going to continually add 5° a decade?
-
So what? And what have you had? An iceberg? Yelling torch and going +4 on 11/1 for a winter forecast skews warm to me While he may skew warm, and MJO cold, you just skew miserable
-
You skew warm though. So I have to view your forecast through that lens. I dont necessarily disagree with your forecast, but it is important to mention you are the first to yell torch often to exaggeration Just like MJO skews cold. You get to know the posters on here.

we are already torching. not gonna get more of a torch than this

I had the air on yesterday. I had like six people in the house. I couldn’t take the heat.

another nice cool August day. Because I have a newborn, I was up at 4 AM and had to run out to the car. I think it was still like 64°. un fucking real

are we looking at a +5 for the first two weeks of November? obviously premature but what does the warmest November look like? You need to be making a run at it with these first two weeks

Yeh yeh. Gonna be a cold DJF. Starts like this. Where is that first freeze bud? Nowhere in next 2 weeks that’s for sure. Several warm records though

Thankfully its dry. One notable absence this warm october is rain or humidity. Good

That literally killed people. A lot of people and caused a lot of damage. Even though many people on here are screaming like the sky is falling we are hardly in a major drought situation. We certainly don’t need any tropical storm like Ida ever again. That was a fucking disaster be a tick in any direction. We are like 2 inches low in annual rainfall.

I think your 10 year run started as our local climate started to show a noticeable change to warmer and more moist. Certainly increased humidity and subsequent higher night time lows. but the consistent over precipitation, breaking annual norms and the monthly big rainfalls just arent historically normal
