It's really become embarrassing.....every storm is a bomb cyclone etc now. Nothing but hype....yes, we'll get some strong winds but with leaves off of the trees and no snow involved.....power outages will be few and far between.....IMHO.
You nailed this! Sun is poking through in Plymouth. I'm personally depressed. As others have mentioned, it's getting real tiring attempting to keep my plants from burning out and I've been unsuccessful in some cases. Hopefully we get a couple of TS remnants with inches of rain....
It's pounding in Plymouth, multiple power hits, praying it doesn't go out...going out soon for first clean up. Will attempt to get some measurements but afraid with the drifting it will be fruitless.
Thought my rain gauge might be busted as it registered .93 inches for last night but then checked the NWS site and Plymouth airport and they had over an inch. Well needed!
PYM : Plymouth : 82 / 61 / 1.06
This is embarrassing in my view, Ocean is almost flat in Plymouth and waves in Marshfield aren't much to speak of.

These aren't great but took them earlier. I got home just before this road was closed. It's called Sacrifice Rock and only way into the Ridge section of Pine Hills.
My station at my home in Plymouth measured 5.04 inches. Happy that it seems to be fairly accurate. Not happy that the only road into our neighborhood is decimated. Closed due to sink holes and other extensive damage. Trapped at home for now......
