If we don't get a decent snow storm this winter I think I am done with following the models. -
Of course it keeps getting less and less snow as we get closer. It's probably going to be all ice by the time it gets here. Why is it so hard to get snow here now?

Mixing in NC at 78 and 81.

Looked like the GFS had a little break in precip and then more snow.

Would love this with almost everyone in NC getting at least 3 inches of snow.

Not liking how the totals decreased. Nothing for Raleigh and points south.

They would much rather start low and increase the totals as it gets closer than to start high and bust.

Better than the 12z and looks like the 0z from earlier today. Euro seems to be going back and forth more than the other models today.

Oops, my bad. And that one was actually worse than the 0z.

Euro is slightly better with totals, but it's being stubborn.

GFS ensemble mean is better than the op.

GFS increased the totals a bit for the Triangle.

GFS turns to ice at the end but mostly snow until then for NC.

GFS at 69.

Seems like a typical winter storm for NC where we know something is going to happen but exactly who gets what and how much is hard to predict ahead of time.
