  1. SPC with the first quality discussion in ages, regarding tomorrow locally. MCV dependent setup, and will heavily depend on what occurs with said MCV tonight/tomorrow morning. .
  2. 89'd at ORD, MDW and RFD yesterday, but ex home was able to eek out a 90. 22 - Ex Home21 - RFD17 - MDW14 - ORD
  3. Significant and compact bowing MCS in SW WI, with tail-end charlie sups. Nice environment ahead of it, so it should rake across much of S WI. .
  4. Sort of the same as I mentioned a few days ago... Pretty much every day will have some severe potential in the region, but none of the days look interesting at this point. .
  5. Looks like a daily shot of severe potential in the region from Saturday through mid next week. None of the days really stick out yet as far as potential though. Locally we’ll be in play for multiple days with some sort of potential as well.
  6. Peak wind gusts of 42KT and 45KT on the two sensors at ORD, as the line moved through around 3AM. .
  7. Unless things change soon, Michigan is out of it. Trajectory has been more S to SSE. .
  8. Looking bank for now. Current trajectories would bring it across a large portion of N IL. I'm still not sold on any quality severe potential by that time, but an MCS would still be nice. I'm on a mid at ORD tonight too.
  9. 90 at MDW and ex home today, with debris clouds obviously an issue across the area. 21 - RFD21 - Ex home17 - MDW14 - ORD
  10. And then they double down, and bring the mod risk to the IL/WI border and into NW MI/N IN. Likely overdone.
  11. They’ll be too far northeast. The biggest question is how quickly the threat fades with southeastward extent. The moderate risk to MKE seems be wishful thinking. .
  12. I’m not him, but you’d have to be well north in MN/WI, and terrain is terrible. .
  13. we’ll reel something in. we both know it always ends up south of guidance in these situations. .
  14. 94 ORD/RFD/ex home and 93 MDW today. 21 - RFD20 - Ex home16 - MDW14 - ORD
  15. 90 ORD, 91 MDW, and 92 at RFD and ex home today. 20 - RFD19 - Ex home15 - MDW13 - ORD
  16. 92 ORD, 93 MDW and ex home, and 94 RFD today. 19 - RFD18 - Ex home14 - MDW12 - ORD
  17. 91 MDW, 90 RFD and ex home today. ORD was 89’d. 18 - RFD 17 - Ex home 13 - MDW 11 - ORD .
  18. It definitely took a few degrees off of the high temp a few days ago (20th). It’ll likely do the same in the coming days that feature the same thickness. It also doesn’t help that the smoke is dispersed throughout the atmosphere over a large part of the region, instead of just at one layer aloft. .
  19. Smoke making it down to the surface once again this afternoon, with vis ranging from 5-9SM across NE IL/Chicago metro.
