    Have thought 2-5" should be common across LOT CWA counties north of I-80, for tonight/tomorrow. Combined with the 1-2" from round 1 & 2, for a final total of 3-6", locally higher.

    UHI didn't have an affect either. Temps in IN and S Michigan were in the mid 30's as well, advecting in from the east.

    You don't want that brighter band to move north...that's the R/S line. Lincoln has been rain for a few hours now.

    Strong dynamic cooling effect down by STL. Dropped from 38 to 33 in the expanding good returns, with new 1" report just west.

    HRRR/RAP are in bigly catch-up mode right now.

    3.5" report far S. Missouri. Higher end model guidance is verifying down there. GFS has nada down there.

    Probably a bit high on amounts, but all guidance (outside of HRRR/RAP) suggest a good overall hit across the heart of the area.

    NAM/HRRR/RGEM are alone in being further west with the SLP/ULL. Can probably toss them at this point.

    GFS is already failing horribly in the Plains with precip-type. Not surprising. .
